Every day we take small or big steps on the chosen path. It can be pleasant to walk on it, or inconvenient due to the uncomfortable shoes or clothes we have chosen. It can be scary because we lost our GPS connection, or even dark because we chose the wrong people, which could not turn on the light for us in difficult times. Nevertheless, all the paths are unique and necessary, as they reveal the stories of our lives, and create a big puzzle, a map, of the stories of many Ukrainians who form the new reality of modern Ukraine.

We hear these stories from educators of our pilot HEIs, medical professionals and health experts, doctors and nurses, over a cup of coffee with students. We see the importance of these stories, which have become particularly high-profile with the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. So, we emphasize their need to be told and heard.

With this project, we show the importance of all the Ukrainian men and women's steps, which draw a map of modern Ukraine. These people support our country and help us to bring the victory as soon as possible.
